Photo Focus
I will be participating in the 2010 Photo Focus competition at Battle Ground High School on April 24th with other digital photography students but I am the ONLY Advanced Digital Photography student participating, so hopefully i will place 3rd or higher. No one knows the theme yet but it is going to be mimicking the photography styles of Lee Freidlander, Duane Michals, Cindy Sherman, Stewart Harvey, Jerry Uelsmann, and Dominic Rouse. So it will most definitely be in black & white and journalistic/portrait photography.. my specialty! we need a model so i chose my mexican/native american friend Logan. she has nice skin and a cute beauty mark above her lip :) and she is definitely easy to work with. in other words, she isn’t a diva. haha. i am VERY excited to do this! I will do a follow up blog soon.
